The Bethany United Church located at 3 George Street in Bethany, on the lower level comprises a meeting hall (1350 square feet), a modern fully equipment kitchen (320 square feet) including a commercial dishwasher, two electric ranges and a refrigerator, a two piece washroom, and a children's playroom (100 square feet). The notice of occupancy issued by the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall for the meeting hall authorizes occupancy of 150 persons with non fixed chairs and 110 with chairs and tables. The washroom is designed to accommodate the physically challenged and an elevator provides access to all levels of the building. The main church sanctuary is situated on the second level, with an adjoining meeting room (500 square feet), ladies and men's washrooms and two small church administrative offices.
